217 is one of my lucky numbers and one of the first times I remember seeing it as a sign from the universe was years ago when I was super nervous for my first ever interview - I’d flown to NYC with my hard-earned money for this job interview and when I saw that the room number for my interview was 217 I instantly relaxed...and got the job! It’s been my most consistent sign.
11:11 has always been a sign for me. But in the past few weeks I have been seeing it ALL the time! So have been ruminating a bit on what I means that 11:11 is being very present recently. As I was reading today Soother about signs, and thinking how I want to pick another sign… “glass slipper” jumped into my mind. SO random but ok! We are going with it lol.
I loved the David Whyte quote in this morning's newsletter! I received "Consolations" as a gift when I graduated from college six years ago. This will be my first time picking a sign and the first thing that spoke to me was a rainbow 🌈 It's been so dry with the East Coast fires, signs of rain coming would be a sign of renewal. I love that the rainbow appears as a sign of joy and vibrancy after cloudy/overcast weather.
The other symbol that's had significance for my over the past ~year is the Lotus. My Art Therapist introduced me to Thich Nhat Han's quote "no mud, no lotus" which has a lot of significance for me 🪷
Fortune cookies - when I was in my early twenties, I got one that just said “relationships.” and ever since I’ve used and saved them to guide me.
Sure, sometimes I have to go through a few before I find the one that sticks, but there’s always a message in there somewhere, even if it’s in the lucky numbers or “Learn Chinese” word.
I also have Chinese heritage, and grew up in New York City’s Chinatown, so I like to think they’re little messages from my ancestors.
528 is my lucky number (my birthday… basic but meaningful) and my main sign is also the great blue heron. Made friends with one while living in Alaska and loved their grace and awkwardness (when taking flight). Live in Idaho now and have made a new gbh friend here! Also river otters 🦦
I also have a great blue heron as a sign. That came about because I would always get so excited when I saw one and I would shout to my children, “Look, there’s a great blue heron!!” Rabbits are my other animal sign. I saw a little one yesterday right before I took a walk with my Zen teacher. We had a magical time together. My number is 19 because my birthday is May 19th. My most recent office was one a friend used to have and whenever I visited her there I always wished it was mine because it was so beautiful. When she moved away, I leased it and found out it was Suite 19!
I love this so much!! Such a sense of delight and a great sense of humor.
My grandfather once gave me a 2 cent coin for luck before he passed away. Now any time I find one I believe it’s him checking in with me ✨🥰
Another sign that speaks to me is the butterfly. 🦋 It‘s like a gentle reminder that I can rest again in my lightness and trust that all is unfolding.

the angel numbers have been big for me lately! also love spotting a shamrock or horsehoe:)
